Trish qualified as a nurse in 1978 and worked mainly in secondary care covering a broad range of clinical settings,
In 1996 Trish joined AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals and fulfilled various roles including Nurse Development Manager and Project Management. During this time she was instrumental in the successful development and delivery of a quality improvement programme to support Nurse Supplementary Prescribers continued professional development through a series of workshops over 2004 and 2005 reaching across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Since August 2005 Trish has worked for the Improvement Foundation (IF). The IF has a proven track record of supporting organisations and front line staff in making demonstrable and sustainable improvements in the delivery of services. Trish leads the Tackling Healthcare Associated Infections Outside of Hospital Programme.
